Four finalists for two positions. Two people offered contracts, third person qualified.

Three days of prelims. Four invited to semi-finals a month later. Finals included three (one auto advanced). No hire for the third year!

I’m told Zulfiya Bashirova was offered a section violin position.

Laura Herrera won the 1st violin fellowship, but declined and the position has been offered to runner up Maria Gabriela Mendez.

Javier Torres won the 2nd violin fellowship.

I’m told one candidate has been offered a trial, to be played in the fall

I heard Renee-Paule Gauthier won a position. Not sure if there were others.

Alan Snow and Marc Rovetti were also offered trials for First Associate Concertmaster.

Heard that Keeon Guzman won principal cello and Jason Mooney was the runner up.

Alex Heidt won a section violin position and the other finalists were added to the sub list.
