Finals were yesterday- any updates?

I've heard from multiple sources that Naples Philharmonic drug tests their employees. Why? I believe it would make them the only (non-military) orchestra that drug tests. Does anyone have any more info on this?

After trials, Josh Baker of The Florida Orchestra was appointed Principal Bassoon and Wenmin Zhang of the North Carolina Symphony was appointed Assistant Principal. Congrats to them!

Zac Hammond won this position after a trial period. He was previously Principal Oboe in the Charleston Symphony.

Paul Lueders won this audition last month. The other finalists were Mark Debski and Brooks Fisher.
