I hear Cameron Bonner of the Alabama Symphony won this audition. Congrats to him!

Pittsburgh did this type of thing for principal flute and it still took them 10 years to hire. Clearly not a fair or effective way to proceed. Hold another audition!

also, we all know of so many situations where someone with little orchestral experience wins an audition. These people likely prepared the list over the course of at least a month before the audition.
