Audition Results

I'm not sure if the process is the same for third trumpet as it is when auditioning for first. But LSO has a different process of audition than normal. I know that for first trumpet chairs they do multiple audition days, and then, they pick multiple candidates. Those candidates play several programs with the orchestra. I think this process can take like 1 year, or maybe more, I'm not sure. I heard an interview with Dave Elton that he talked about his experience.
