I was auditioning for a musical at my high school and I got to the callback stage. They put us all in groups and requested us to learn specific songs to sing the next day. I went to the audition today and when I got there, realized I learned the wrong song. I had to sing it on the spot. I ended up telling my director the situation and he gave me about 30 minutes to learn it and perform it after everyone else was done. However, because of the mistake,  I feel like I wasn't able to put my best foot forward. Would it be disrespectful or useless to film the song I actually learned and email it to him? I guess I'm just trying to cope with the anxiety and frustration of spending so much time on a song I never got to perform. Thanks for your help in advance. In case this is important, they were supposed to have more callbacks tomorrow but he just posted that they won't be.
