Thank you to those of you who reported it. - There have been many cases of players who don't "fit the style" of an orchestra and still win jobs there. Sometimes orchestras are looking for something new. Many sections want to evolve to a new sound or explore a new personality. - Best of luck to all who are auditioning, including Mr. Almond if he is indeed on trial there.
