The Toledo Symphony Orchestra announces auditions for the position of Third Horn to take place on May 26 (preliminary rounds) and May 27 (final rounds). This is a 40-week tenure-track position with a minimum of 190 services guaranteed each season. Benefits include paid time off, 403b retirement savings plan, instrument insurance, and health insurance. Employment to commence at the start of the 2026/2027 season (September 1, 2026). The starting base salary for the 26/27 season is $38,000.

Auditions will take place in person at the Toledo Center for Live Arts located at 4747 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, OH 43614 on May 26 and 27, 2026.

Highly qualified applicants are asked to submit a one-page resume and a refundable deposit in the amount of $100 by Friday, May 8 in order to secure an audition date and time.
