ProMusica Chamber Orchestra announces auditions for the following position beginning with the 2024-25 season:

SECOND FLUTE

Audition Date: Monday, September 30, 2024

Auditions to be held at The Ohio Theatre in Columbus, Ohio

Applications must be received by: Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 5:00 pm

Cancelation Deadline: Monday, September 23, 2024 at 5:00 pm

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

To be considered for an invitation to audition, highly qualified candidates should submit a one-page resume and $50 deposit check (payable to ProMusica Chamber Orchestra) no later than the indicated deadline to:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

The audition committee reserves the right to dismiss any candidate not meeting the highest artistic standards.

EMPLOYMENT:

ProMusica Chamber Orchestra is a per service orchestra with approximately 50 services each season. ProMusica is currently in contract negotiations. As a reference, the 2023-24 Section pay scale was $180 per service. Partial travel/housing reimbursements are given to musicians living outside of the greater Columbus, Ohio region. Employment will begin in the 2024-25 season.
