How do orchestra musicians go about addressing with the conductor that their tempi in a very well known work are wrong? Case in point: where the Largo and Larghetto tempi are faster than Allegro moderato.
Nevertheless. It's not our place or responsibility as orchestra musicians to make suggestions to a conductor. I would simply grin and bear it, personally.
they don't. they just don't get invited back to conduct if there is that big of a problem.
