Hopping in to ask if anyone can speak to how the people who auditioned for both Boston associate and this position made it happen? Philly semis and Boston prelims were both scheduled for only 1/13.
Sorry if I was unclear. I meant that the candidates were auto advanced in Philly in order to get around the conflict. It sounds like both orchestras did the same thing to deal with it.
So, to make sure I’m understanding this right, Boston and Philly both allowed these individuals to start in semis? I’ve heard that one of the superfinalists from the BSO audition in May had to start in prelims, despite asking if a later round was possible. Didn’t say the magic words, I guess.
A trial week(s) was offered to Victoria Knudtson. The other superfinalist was Jason Friedman. Roy Femenella was the other finalist.
